Shopping at Flourish Furniture Bank feels like Christmas for many families, but it is often still a stressful time. One of the most challenging aspects of any move is finding a vehicle and physical assistance to handle bulky items. This challenge is even greater for people who have experienced domestic violence, who are often left without a support network after fleeing their home.
Tullock Transport stepped up to make a difference by providing a free move for a family referred by a local domestic violence shelter that offers comprehensive protection and resources for anyone experiencing violence in Kansas City. The Tullock team brought our guest’s items from Flourish to their storage unit, unloading and storing everything for when our guest received the keys to their new apartment.
We’re immensely grateful to Tullock Transport for their help in making sure everyone has access to a fully furnished home!
