Moira Aaron-Castillo

Last month, we were honored to receive donations in honor of Moira Aaron-Castillo’s 40^th birthday. Moira was a dedicated mother, educator, mentor, and community servant who fought a three-year battle with neuroendocrine cancer. She and her husband, Brent, and three children named Flourish as the recipient of gifts to honor her memory. Moira was a dedicated supporter of Flourish and went above and beyond to collect donations from her neighbors and bring them to Flourish. Her passion has transformed many lives through the gift of a furnished home. In honor of her birthday last month, Brent and family organized a donation drive and collected essential cooking utensils and bakeware for our guests. We are incredibly grateful to the Aaron and Castillo families for ensuring that Moira’s legacy lives on through hundreds of homes across Kansas City.
