Build Dressers. Furnish Dignity.

Give your team a hands-on way to make a lasting difference in Kansas City—by building dressers for families overcoming housing insecurity.

Flourish, Kansas City’s only furniture bank, invites your team to roll up your sleeves for a meaningful volunteer experience. Your group will build brand-new, flat-pack dressers that will go directly into the homes of families we serve—many of whom have been sleeping on the floor or storing clothes in plastic bags.

How It Works

Engage employees through an all-inclusive team-building volunteer day at Kansas City’s furniture bank!

  • Choose your sponsorship level based on group size.

  • We provide tools, materials, t-shirts, and lunch.

  • Your team builds dressers—no experience required.

  • Every dresser is given away to a family.

 

Sponsorship Package

Sponsorships cover lunch, t-shirts, and dresser-building tools and materials. All sponsorships include branded signage at the event, social media recognition, and a corporate shout-out in our newsletter.  Groups are limited to 10 people.

  • One Group (10 people) – $800
  • Two Groups (20 people) – $2,000
  • Three Groups (30 people) – $4,000

 

Why Dressers?

For families recovering from homelessness, a dresser offers something deeper than storage. A dresser helps transform a space from survival to stability—from temporary to truly home. But dressers are something we’re always running low on. When you build a dresser, you’re giving someone the chance to unpack, settle in, and feel proud of where they live.
