How to Donate
Flourish furnishes hundreds of homes each year entirely through donations from the community. By donating your gently used home furnishings, you ensure your belongings stay out of the landfill and continue to bring joy and meaning to a family’s home. Click the button in the lower right-hand corner of the screen to schedule a pickup.
1. Dock Drop Off
Donations can be dropped off at our warehouse (11971 Grandview Road, Suite A) Tuesday through Saturday from 9 am–12 pm.
2. ReSupply Pickup
Priority pick-up requests can be scheduled through our partner ReSupply, a fast and professional moving service run by KC Junk Company.
- Pickups as soon as 2 business days (Mon-Sat), subject to time-slot availability
- No geographic limitation
- Can pick up from multiple floors
- Can disassemble furniture
- Items of ANY condition picked up
- Pick-up fee reflects KC Junk Company’s costs and is much smaller than a usual moving company or junk hauler fee (fee is not tax deductible, but donated items are)
3. Volunteer Pickup
Pickup requests can also be placed with our Donations Team, a passionate group of volunteers who collect items in our moving truck. Volunteer pick ups require payment when you confirm your pick up time. Your donation helps cover the cost of maintaining our vehicles and fuel.
$25: 1-2 items
$40: 3-5 items
$60: 6 or more items
- Items MUST BE outside or in garage, and volunteer drivers will not disassemble furniture
- Will be scheduled when truck is in your area. Usually 1-2 weeks out.
- We can only accept items that are essential for the home. See donation guidelines below
- Volunteer pickups can only be scheduled within geographic radius
What We Accept
We accept donations of gently used furniture, beds, cookware, dishes, linens, decorations, and household goods.

Online Wishlists
If you don’t have unused household goods, check out our Walmart and Amazon Wishlists. They are always updated to reflect the current needs of Flourish and filled with the best deals! These items include small appliances, lamps, dressers, and more that don’t get donated as often.
