How to Host
Flourish furnishes hundreds of homes each year entirely through donations from the community.
Organize a donation drive to gather essential items for families in need. Whether you set up a collection bin or host a drop-off day, your contribution will go directly into a family’s home. The items you collect will be critical in providing comfort, stability, and happiness for a family regain their footing.
Start planning your donation drive by emailing info@flourishfurniturebank.org with the following information:
+ Small or Large Item Collection (or both)
+ Company or Group (if applicable)
+ Your phone number
+ Where will the drive take place?
+ Who will be participating in the drive?
+ What is your anticipated timeline?
+ What else should we know?
What We Accept
Please check our guidelines by clicking the button below before you schedule your donation!
We accept donations of gently used furniture, beds, cookware, dishes, linens, decorations, and household goods.

Send us photos of your items at info@flourishfurniturebank.org or give us a call at 816-946-8600.
1. Small Item Collection
Host a branded barrel and collect linens, dishes, cookware, small appliances, and decor!
- Barrel pickups scheduled as needed, or you can drop them off
- Keep the barrel for 2 weeks or more
- We provide signage digital flyers
- We will present about Flourish to your group
2. Large Item Drive
Host an event to collect drop-offs of large furniture and household items! Great for schools, churches, neighborhood and community groups.
- We will bring the Flourish truck to directly load donations
- Organize your neighbors to drop off large furniture items!
- We provide digital flyers
- We will present about Flourish to your group
3. Wishlist Purchases
If you don’t have unused household goods, check out our Walmart and Amazon Wishlists. They are always updated to reflect the current needs of Flourish and filled with the best deals! These items include small appliances, lamps, dressers, and more that don’t get donated as often.
